Hi! I'm Nico Winkel, a data scientist at OmegaLambdaTec where I build Smart Data solutions and AI tools for future-oriented businesses. We drive innovation in fields like demand forecasting, medical research, and the energy transition. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, as fellow of the International Max Planck Research School for Astronomy and Cosmic Physics. My research focuses on the formation of supermassive black holes and their coevolution with galaxies, using the most powerful telescopes available.
